I've worked in the recruitment industry for 25 years \u2014 but it took ten years before I became a recruitment consultant. Before that, I built my own sales teams: as a sales manager, as a business area manager, as the person who built sales and marketing departments from the ground up. It was never just about hiring the right people. It was about building structure and processes, handling conflict, and giving people what they actually needed to succeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Det var d\u00e4r grunden lades \u2014 inte i en kursbok eller en metod, utan i erfarenheten av att se vad som faktiskt avg\u00f6r om ett team<\/a> presterar: vilka som ing\u00e5r, och hur de kompletterar varandra<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But sometimes it's not about finding the right person for someone else. Sometimes it's about ending up in the right place yourself, with the right people, at the right time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That's what happened to me this summer. I'm becoming one of four founding Senior Partners in SAM International's new Swedish team \u2014 and it's not just a title that's changing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It's not about luck<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I'm rarely the one who explains things away as coincidence. But sometimes timing, people and circumstances fall into place so clearly that it's hard to call it anything else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That's how it was when the conversations with Louise Mebius at SAM International picked up pace. It didn't take long before they stopped being about roles and terms, and became about what we actually want to build together. That kind of alignment rarely happens this fast. When it does, I choose to trust it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My new team<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under sommaren har Louise, Managing Partner<\/a> f\u00f6r SAM Sweden, byggt ett team som hon kallar STAR \u2014 fyra partners med olika styrkor och en gemensam ambition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louise is the builder: the one who sets direction and provides the structure for what we take on. Jonas drives growth and new business with an energy I recognize in myself. Susanne has a depth in executive search and interim assignments that few can match, and an ability to build trust that takes years to earn. And I'm responsible for Leadership Advisory and AI as Senior Partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four different backgrounds. Four different ways of working. But one shared starting point: it's the people in an organization who determine whether it takes off \u2014 not the plan on paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What I'll be doing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I'll keep doing what I've always done best \u2014 helping companies find, develop and retain leaders who drive results. But now with an international network, three fantastic colleagues, and a clear focus on how AI can genuinely strengthen leadership, not replace it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The question I want to work on over the coming years is how technology can strengthen leaders without making them less human. I now get to do that alongside an international network spanning twelve countries and three colleagues who have already got me thinking on an entirely different scale than I did this spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This isn't an ending<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By M Consulting is still here. The foundation I've built over the past months \u2014 the relationships, the way of working, everything I've learned about what actually creates value in an organization \u2014 still stands, and I'm still the one who stands behind it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is more the next chapter of the same story. I've long wanted to give back to an industry that has given me so much, and now I get to do that with a bigger network, three sharp colleagues, and a platform that reaches further than I could have built on my own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I'm looking forward to seeing where it takes us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
