Six months
It's not a long time. But it was enough to teach me things I couldn't have learned any other way.
When I started, I knew one thing: I wanted the freedom to choose. Choose assignments. Choose clients. Choose how I structured my work, and why.
It sounded simple in theory. In practice, it's a skill you have to build — because the freedom to choose also means you're always the one carrying the responsibility for the choices you make.
It was heavier than I expected. It was also better.
What surprised me most wasn't how hard something was — it was how natural it felt. Meeting clients, understanding their situation, delivering something that actually makes a difference. That's what I've done for 25 years. The format was new. The substance was the same.
What demanded the most of me was clarity. Defining exactly what I wanted to offer and sticking to it — without compromising when the opportunities were many and the needs were broad. It's a constant balance between what you can do and what you should do. I'm still not done learning that lesson. But I carry it with me.
If I'm honest, what I'm proudest of isn't a specific assignment or a specific deal. It's that every time I said yes to something, it felt right — not just from a business standpoint, but in line with who I am and what I want to do. That might sound like a small thing. It isn't.
Och det är precis det som ledde mig hit – till rollen som Senior Partner, Head of Leadership Advisory & AI, på SAM International Sverige.
Those six months weren't a detour. They were the preparation. The freedom to choose taught me exactly what I want to work on, and who I want to work with. Now I get to do that backed by an international network and three sharp colleagues — without losing what made those six months valuable: the honesty, the clarity, and the insistence that every assignment has to feel right.
This fall is about going deeper. Deeper into client relationships. Deeper into expertise — my ICC certification continues, and individual coaching programs are taking shape. And continued honesty about what's hard, what takes time, and what demands more than I'd accounted for.
That is the least I can offer.
If you have thoughts, questions, or simply want to talk something through — feel free to get in touch. I am happy to have an initial conversation with no agenda.

Right person. Right place. Everything changes.
